I cannot belive it's nearly Christmas! And its been forever since I gave a little update to my xanga friends out there. Well, just in case you were wondering...Amy and I are still alive and well. Though I've got some huge greek stuff to study before my final exam next week! Amy is working hard at Montana's Restaurant-she's the BEST waitress/server they have ever seen, and they are so fortunate to have her on staff (I know I'm a little biased) Here's what a montana's looks like...
So here's a Toronto tradition at Christmas. It's skating on an outdoor ice rink beside the City Hall buildings right downtown TO. I can't wait to dust off the skates and get around the ice. Amy, by the way, is a much better skater than I. But when it comes to skiing... I guess that's were we trade off : )
Besides working we've been hangin out with friends...The other day, Amy, her sister Amada, Elim Kim, and I went out to grab a bite to eat and hang out in Toronto. Great times! And on monday of this week Amy and I set up a real christmas tree in our apartment!! Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year. I hope all of you reading this have an awesome one-thinking about Jesus and what He came to this world for-You for one thing! Spend some time reading that amazing account of how He came to earth and then read a few other chapters in the gospels to be refreshed on what He did while he was here... Be encouraged! By the way, if you like classical Christmas Carols, sung by some amazing voices, you'll really like this cd-It's been a part of my Christmas upbringing for as long as I can remember...
The Lord Bless and Keep you! Ben (for Amy too) |
